A big thanks to the Reno crew and participants for putting together a wonderful show, I know there were a few problems with the computer, but I thought the race went well. With 67 entries and 12 different classes, it was nice to get through two rounds and the mains still at a decent time.
For those of you that have never been to this track, it’s not one of the biggest around, but it’s a whole lot of fun to drive on. The dirt is good, and the layout with the carpet on the jumps made it a great track to drive.
If you plan on coming to the Reno track and you have many RC vehicles, bring them all because there is a class for everything and there will be people to race with in every class. And of course the people you race with are there to have some plain old fun, I don’t think I heard anybody yell at the corner marshals and never heard any abusive foul language through out the day, this is truly a place for everybody to run and just have a plain old good time. But don’t let that fool ya, some of the drivers up here are fast and very competitive.
Again thanks, and I know they are still making improvements to the facility, so if you have an open date in your calendar, maybe take a trip up to Reno for some RC racing action…
